Peter Pintus, whose philosophy is “all of life is a learning experience,” specializes in leadership and management development, organizational culture development, life coaching, counseling, and practical spirituality as related to leadership practices and organization culture. His diverse professional and educational career spanning 26 years enable him to train, speak, educate, and coach on a variety of professional and educational subjects. In the corporate environment, Dr. Pintus served in administration and management positions for several Fortune 500 companies. In the higher education environment, he directed bachelor and master’s level adult learning programs and held an assistant professor of management faculty position. In the business environment, he functioned as president, executive manger, and consultant. Industries in which Dr. Pintus has been involved include broadcasting, computers, aerospace, pharmaceutical, executive search, agriculture, business management, non-profit organizations, and educational institutions. He currently teaches courses related to organizational design, transformational leadership and innovation, and social and moral responsibilities of leadership.
Peter has been involved in the start-up of new departments and business ventures. He has developed, implemented, and managed strategic business plans and quality improvement programs resulting in the financial growth of several Fortune 500 corporate and educational organizations. He has developed, taught, and facilitated courses in corporate and higher education environments related to leadership/management development and models, systems theory, organizational management, interpersonal relations, continuous quality improvement, business development, and spiritual formation. Peter’s education includes a B.S. In Speech/Broadcasting from Iowa State University, a M.S. in Counseling from Texas A&M, and a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership and Innovation from the University of Colorado at Denver. His dissertation focused on the Developmental Processes of Spirituality and Leadership Practices Among a Selected Group of Higher Education Leaders. Dr. Pintus’ published dissertation findings contributed to a rapidly growing interest in the field of spirituality and leadership development.
On a more personal level, Peter prefers the country
life in Monument, Colorado and enjoys spending time with his wonderful
wife, two daughters, four cats, and a bunch of wild creatures. He also
enjoys hiking, camping, reading and writing. Other interests include
practical spirituality, the American Civil War history, wines, and astronomy.
